CDCP
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a government initiative that provides dental coverage for qualifying Canadians who do not have private dental insurance. It aims to reduce barriers to essential dental care by covering preventive, restorative, and emergency services. This program is particularly beneficial for families, seniors, children, and individuals with lower incomes.
Eligibility for CDCP is based on income and insurance status. Generally, Canadians without private or employer-based dental coverage, and who meet certain household income requirements, may qualify. The program is being rolled out in phases, beginning with children, seniors, and persons with disabilities. At Fort Dental, our team can help you check eligibility and guide you through the process of using CDCP benefits.
At Fort Dental, we will review your treatment plan to ensure you understand which services are covered under CDCP and any additional costs that may apply.
